Last week my father was in the hospital and I was in Cleveland which is where I now reside. I got the call from my brother that my father was sick and that he has been in the hospital for over two weeks but no one told me as they did not want me to get upset as I was no longer local. “Local meaning in North Carolina” that is where my pops moved back to.
During that week all I felt was pure stress as I was working on site for a client and of course I did not want any personal business to interfere with the client application.
In any event after I finish up for the client I hurried up a caught a plane to check on my family, when I got there I talked to a couple of doctors because getting information first party is much better than getting third party information.
Once I got there I became so thankful that I was in a financial position to get a flight on such short notice, I was thankful that I have my own business although I do have clients and I have to respect their business but I don’t have to ask my boss can I leave to check on my parents.
I am just thankful !!!
Well my father has been released from the hospital and now more than ever I understand why I am entrepreneur.
See here is whats real to me … Have enough money to solve the things that money can solve !!! Build and cherish beautiful relationship !!! Love like you never love before …
And don’t regret chasing the dreams of financial independence it is so much bigger than just having money…
It means time to spend with a sick love one, It means time to take your child to school and pick her or him up !! It mean choosing where you and your mate will spend the day.
That is what this is all about …. I am so thankful..
